THE GALA

On Friday, March 22nd, 2024 The Block Gives Back hosted our Gala fundraiser at the Philadelphia Ball Room! It was an amazing night surrounded by so many incredible supports of our organization. Some volunteers were honored for their service and commitment shown throughout 2023. We had a great time trading in our event t-shirts’s and sneakers to see everyone come together dressed up! We look forward to hosting another Gala next year, and most importantly we look forward to seeing you there.

Where are the proceeds going?

The funds raised from "The Gala" will help jump-start a very busy spring and summer. Funds will be allocated to events such as:

- 4 Blocks In 4 Weeks: City-Wide Street Cleaning followed by a block party to mend community relationships
- Love thy Park Tour: City-Wide Park Cleaning & Safety Celebration
- Peace & Play Day: Annual antiviolence initiative hosted in July
- Block 2 School: Back To School Celebration hosted in August

In addition to programs such as our Youth Internship Program and Shop With Sean. The funds raised will be a direct investment into clean streets, safe parks, multiple give backs and preparing our many different communities in our city for successful and impactful futures.
