Come get connected and crafty with TBGB and Safehub! We will be hosting a 21+ volunteer event/ social on December 10th, 2024! Partners, volunteers, community members are welcomed to join for this BYOB occasion.

Individuals and families are invited to join TBGB and Safehub as we decorate Scanlon Rec together! We look forward to making decorations together and memories as we prepare for End of the Year Jawn!

Join TBGB on November 16th, 2024 down the block of Torresdale at Tacony Lab! November is their Fiber Month where they will be collecting hats and gloves for our TENTH End of the Year Jawn! We are extremely happy for this collaboration and look forward to working together!

Join the Block Gives Back for our annual Blockoween event! Enter on Devereaux Street to the American Legion Rec Parking lot and you’ll find the fun! There will be candy, giveaways, prizes, and a trunk decorating competition just beyond the sign in! Make sure to get your wrist band and your tickets to vote for best trunk. We’ll see you there!

TBGB is excited to partner with Concilio CUA 3 and Boost Mobile as cohosts for Wissinoming Community Day! We look forward to a day with various partners coming together to provide various resources, activities, and more! Rumor has it there will be kittens for adoption available ON SITE! With our partners Emancipet being present too, stop by and learn about their low- cost pet services available to you!

The End of the Month Jawn is hosted the last Saturday of each month. TBGB is grateful for our sponsor Boost Mobile that makes it possible to continue this event adventure! We are running it back to their S. Broad location offering chicken tacos to all who come by until we run out. No matter what side of the table you’re on, we are happy you’re there! Prep will begin at 1 PM, and meals will be distributed as they’re ready! Hope to see you there!

Feed The Block is back on Torresdale Ave! Did you miss it? Because we did! Nothing like gathering volunteers at our home base the Block Shop, to prep meals together and distribute them for FREE. No matter what side of the table you’re on, we’re happy you’re here. With that said, we hope to see you on Saturday, September 21st!
